Removing wallpaper is a delicate process that requires the right tools, like a wallpaper steamer and special solvents. It also requires a whole lot of patience! Even with the right tools, you can never be totally sure how the wallpaper is going to behave. Sometimes it comes off relatively easily, and doesn’t leave any damage behind. Other times, you can run into entire sections of wallpaper that just doesn’t want to come off.
How you go about removing it also depends on the type of wallpaper used—some have a vinyl coating, and others can be made of fabric, which each require a different approach for removal. How it was initially applied can also make a big difference in how the removal process goes. For example, if the walls weren’t properly primed before application, this can cause problems when you try to take it off.
While you can certainly try to tackle the job yourself, it’s always best to let professionals take care of it. When we do run into problems with stubborn wallpaper, we know how to deal with it, while preventing damage to the walls.
I needed handles installed on my cabinets and requeested quote on Yelp. The Golden Team reposnded promptly with a resonable quote an arrived exactly on time on the scheduled day. Carlos and his son were kind and professional, the completed the job quickly and cleaned up everything. I am thrilled with my kitchen and the experience was breeze. Thank you so much! I would highly recommend their skill and professionalism for any task in your home.
The Golden team did an awesome job painting my condo in one day. They were priced more reasonably then other companies. ( I called about 15 different places), offeredd military discount, and worked with my schedule to have painted on my timeline. They went above and beyond in my expectations and helped me on some chalking as well! I highly recommend them and i will defenitely be callign them again for other services! Thank you Carlos, Oscar, and Son (Sorry i cannot remember his name)
Great experience with The Golden Team. We needed a small section of drywall cut and replaced after abotched curtain installation lead to a whole in the wall. They we responsive, affordable, timely, communicative, professional, and perhaps most importantly did really quality work. They reinforced the new drywall installtion with a 2*4so that the curtain rod will go in that location can befully supported. I will definitely be calling them back for future projects.
